Mustadafin Bike Ride

The Mustadafin Foundation is a Social Welfare Organization that serves the community since the Crossroads Violence in 1985. It has adopted as its motto: ‘If everyone helps his neighbour then who would need help’.  Over the past 20 years, they have served the community, specifically in the townships.   The Mustadafin  Foundation is involved with Pre-School Projects, Education, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Arts & Crafts, Life Skills, Disaster Relief and Operation Winter Warmth.  Mustadafin Foundation is the preferred Organization for Disaster Relief within the WC . The Mustadafin Foundation has asked Itheko Events Management to assist them on their fundraising activity in November 2006, viz. Road Trip from Cape Town to the Victoria Falls and back to Cape Town [+- 10 000km].  This will be the start of the Mustadafin's 21st birthday celebrations.

Three individuals from the community have decided to raise funds for the Mustadafin Foundation by travelling on motorbikes [ 2 Honda Goldwings] from Cape Town to Victoria Falls and stopping along selected towns where Mustadafin has a footprint. The three bikers will be assisted by a back-up  ISUZU 280 TD DC. The journey will last about 3 weeks and a welcoming ceremony will be arranged on the 16th December 2006, upon their return to Cape Town.
